Since I won an award for my Work on Of Shark And Man at the Nice International Film Festival, things have become very, very busy.
After recording Teetotum's debut EP Mind Your Teeth at Brighton Electric, and Marck Whiley's (Marbled and Marck and The Rodeo Falls) EP under his Marbled moniker during my trip to England in March and April, the mixes have been completed at Ishikawa Studios, and the always magnificent Andy Wilson mastered the Teetotum EP.
Both of these are awaiting release dates. Keep checking back to find out more.
Of Shark And Man has been picked up by Hollywood Sales Agency Project 8 Films. I don't think I need to mention how much of a big deal that is…
Interestingly, after winning the Sound Design Award, ex-pro snowboarder Tina Basich got in touch to see about working together. She is a brilliant artist in her own right, and it didn't take long for us to make our first piece of music. I can't share it with you yet, but I have a feeling there is a lot more to come.
Ishikawa Studios is evolving, and I am really excited about how it is shaping up. I am excited to take some progress pictures soon, but in between recording projects, mixing, sound designing, and writing, I find myself with so little time to do anything like photography! There will soon be an update on the blog, though. I promise.
Until next time…
